Source rule: these corrections are tied to the hash-verified 116-page flight-log PDF and the R3 source-derived passenger parse. They do not adjudicate wider archive, FAA, ownership, or identity claims outside that source scope.
Controlling source chain
- Primary PDF: Epstein flight logs, 116 pages, SHA-256
d30f3807f9e2b0a2dc112221607f2190e6fe6e8535e3ce198e4e6d723c7d7b15. - Source-derived parser output: R3
repaired_flight_passengers_v2.tsv, SHA-256f4bdf2d440a52974ed2f7f07bf1c50e6ccbb5cc947ae0269aab6f9eacd15c06b. - Counting method: passenger rows and source row IDs are counted separately from flight segments, unique aircraft/date/route combinations, passenger-flight combinations, and journeys.
Corrected counts
25 passenger rows
The source-derived count is 25 passenger rows / 25 source row IDs. A derived 24-count omitted source row row_73. The prior 27-count was not reproduced in the staged supermatrix or primary-source parse.
520 passenger rows
The source-derived count is 520 passenger rows. A derived 504-count omitted 16 source rows. A broad "more than 90" statement is numerically true but too imprecise for publication as a flight-count finding.
Tail confirmed once
The aircraft-tail value is N505LS on source PDF page 46 / source row 3066. Downstream artifacts that treated model text as a tail field are corrected or retired from public use.
Quarantined, not disproven
N474AA, N474LS, and standalone N474 assertions are not supported by the 116-page flight-log source scope. That scoped null is not proof of absence from FAA records, ownership records, source images, alternate spellings, or the wider archive.
Counting definitions
- Passenger entry: one parsed passenger-name occurrence in one source flight-log row.
- Source row: one row from the primary flight-log table as reconstructed by the R3 parser.
- Flight segment: one aircraft movement on a date and route, regardless of passenger count.
- Unique aircraft/date/route combination: one normalized date, tail number, departure, and arrival grouping.
- Unique passenger-flight combination: one normalized passenger attached to one source flight segment.
- Journey or trip: a defensible itinerary grouping across segments; use only where the source rows support reconstruction.
Publication gates
Future pages may cite these corrected counts only when they name the measurement policy. Do not convert N474-family scoped null findings into proof of absence. Do not use derived TSVs or prior audit prose as primary evidence when the original PDF is available.
